Certain conditions apply to CarePlan, CarePlus and RabbitCare and they are detailed as follows:

• You must be resident in the Republic of Ireland.
• The cover always excludes Pre-existing Conditions, pregnancy, neutering, vaccinations and cosmetic weight reduction.
• Age at entry for Pets is between 8 weeks and their 8th Birthday.
• Age at entry for "Select Breeds" is between 8 weeks to their 5th Birthday.
• Pets must be vaccinated for:
  • Dogs: Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus
  • Cats: Feline Infectious Enteritis, Feline Leukaemia and Cat Flu
  • Rabbits: Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD)
• Dentistry covered for accident only.
• Up to 5 pets per policy.
• You pay a Policy Excess of at least 90 Euro on each Illness and Injury each Year. 
• The policy Excess varies for pets over the age of 10, for "Select Breeds" over the age of 7 and it also varies by plan type.
• For a full list of policy exclusions, terms and conditions please read the Terms and Conditions carefully.
• During the first 14 days of this plan (the Stand Down Period), there is no cover for any illness or injury.
• Policy Excess for Third Party Liability claims is 350 Euro.
• PetInsure must be given full details of any and all prior treating vets. The absence of clinical history from your pets date of birth may result in a claim being declined. This information includes but is not limited to vaccination records, microchip records and general check ups.
• Your Pet is not deemd to be vaccinated if a full record is not maintained and if your pet has not been vaccinated by a certified veterinary professional.
